I just love Soylent. I'm losing weight, it's affordable, it's easy, and it's fast. I'm not somebody who hates food. I am somebody who loves it way too much. The best compliment I give to Soylent is that it is unoffensive. This meticulously well balanced human fuel is so delightfully bland in both flavor and texture that it triggers absolutely no desire to have a second bottle. It's hands down the most successful meal replacement I've ever had. When I finish my morning Soylent, I am simply done fueling my body, and ready to move on for the next several hours. Like putting gas in the car. Here's a few tips for anyone about to try it: DO NOT chug your Soylent. Soylent is to be sipped slowly. You can speed it up a little bit when you're more accustomed to it. I drank my first bottle in 3 big gulps. 15 minutes later I threw up. I was not cool. Don't be like me. Drink TONS of water. Use the daily recommended 8 glasses (4 pints, 2 liters, 1/2 gallon, whatever helps you count it), but add an additional 12-16 oz that you sip with your Soylent. It comes in liquid form, but it helps to think of it as a solid, and a particularly dehydrating solid at that. Be ready to use the toilet shortly after, at least for the first few times. YMMV.

i work full time and i'm a full time student -- it's hard to find time to eat a decent meal, especially before a 9am lecture, so i end up losing focus quickly because i'm still groggy and hungry. the coffiest flavor has been my savior. i like drinking this in the morning on my way to class and it's really made the difference. i guess the taste takes a little getting used to? it's not bad, at all, no chalky flavor. it had a weird aftertaste at first, but it didn't bother me. i kept taking small sips throughout the morning, and by the time i was halfway through the bottle, i had actually come to really enjoy the flavor. it keeps me full until the afternoon and it's been good to my overall diet and wallet -- $3 a bottle is amazing. def going to order these on the regular, it's a good investment.

Soylent Meal Replacement Drink is a fantastic blend for anyone who is looking for an affordable and quick fix to time-consuming meals! It is also a great way for a person to ensure he/she is getting a proper dose of healthy micronutrients, fiber, calories, etc. This drink also caters to vegans and people with lactose intolerance! Firsthand Experience: I decided to try Soylent for the first time during the summer of 2017 when I was traveling for a week-long bicycle ride across the state of Iowa, and I loved it! I knew I would have trouble readily accessing healthy food during the ride, so I decided to give the Soylent drink a try. I was looking for something that: 1) did not have to be kept refrigerated 2) was highly portable, inexpensive, and tasty 3) contained sufficient nutrients to legitimately serve as a meal replacement. This drink met every single one of my requirements and, at two 14 oz. bottles per day, kept me fueled up for the demanding week! I have purchased Soylent many times since then, including for the same ride in the summer of 2018. What's it Like? I have tried both the original and mocha flavors, and both are fairly tasty. They aren’t the most delicious in the world, but I think that’s Soylent’s intention. The original flavor gives hints of a sweet cream; it is similar to the leftover milk from a bowl of Lucky Charms cereal! I like the mocha flavor slightly more due to the reminiscent familiarity of morning coffee. I hope to try the cacao and strawberry flavors in the future! As far as the drink's effect on me, I couldn't be happier. It definitely satiates my appetite and I can continue working hard for another three or four hours without being distracted with a grumbling stomach. Some people have said that Soylent upsets their digestion, but fortunately it doesn't cause any issues for me. I have only ever had a maximum of two 14 oz. bottles per day; there comes a point where I need solid food! This being said, I cannot speak definitively for anyone who completely structures their diet with several Soylent drinks a day for weeks on end. How Could Soylent be Better? Overall, I really like this product. However, in the spirit of efficiency and waste reduction, I think it would a good idea for Soylent to create their bottles out of recycled plastics. Soylent is all about functionality, and this could be their next step in achieving that. What's the Point? Soylent Meal Replacement Drink is a smart move towards health and efficiency in an unhealthy and wasteful world. I'm not advocating Soylent replace every single meal, but it is a great occasional substitute for those looking to save time, achieve proper nutrition, or meet certain dietary restrictions. In my experience, it tastes excellent and adequately delivers in terms of energy and nutrient supply. I will be purchasing this again soon!

I’m a slow-eater with a highly stressful, fast-paced job, and a 30 minute lunch. I barely have enough time to enjoy a nutritious lunch and have minute or two to relax. I thought Soylent might be a good option. I tried the Coffiest, and it’s mildly pleasant, innocuously bland sort of a coffee flavor. It’s not something that I’d want another of or something that I’d crave. It does the job, no more no less. I took words of advice and sipped slowly. It’s been about 4 hours, and I’m not really hungry. Another bonus... I have a caesin allergy, so a lot of protein shakes and meal-replacements are off limits. Soylent is safe for me, and that alone is a huge win. I’m curious to see how Coffiest would be with a shot of esspresso thrown in for taste.

I've been ordering Soylent through Amazon for over a year now. I've tried multiple flavors, and to be honest, I've digged every one of them. This though, by far, is my favorite.. the Coffiest. I know personal palate is different for everyone but the best I way I can describe it is: don't go into it thinking it'll taste like a Starbucks Frappe, cause it's not. It does have some chalkiness to it with some hint of coffee. It's not powdery and metallic tasting like most every other protein or meal-replacement shake though, it's smooth, easy to digest and fills you up. Eat 400 calories and simple ingredients, it's a great easy meal for busy lives or when you just want more simplicity in keeping track of what you eat. I primarily use it as a meal replacement during the day, usually for breakfast and / or lunch. It helps keep my calories and nutrient intake easy to manage and track. I don't want to flaunt it as a "diet" drink, but it definitely has helped me keep the pounds off. And though it may seem pricey, it comes down to just around $3 per bottle, which is more than half if not more than what you'd spend eating out or trying to cook something from scratch. All in all, do eat your food when you can, make healthy choices, but this is a great supplement or addition to whatever lifestyle you have. And at it's core, it's a great prepper food to keep alongside your zombie-apocolpyse wares in the basement / safe.

Just recieved my package less than an hour ago and I'm about halfway done with my first bottle. So far the taste is good, its not off putting like some of the reviews say. Very smooth and easy to drink. Tastes similar to a slightly thicker version of the starbucks frappes you can buy in the glass bottles. Not too sweet but not too dark either. I'll update to see if i have some of the stomach problems other people have posted about, but so far 5 stars. Update: Just finished the case with my boyfriend and both of us loved it. I drank 1 for breakfast and half of one for lunch everyday and i loved it. Neither me or my boyfriend had stomach cramps the whole time. These were super convenient since it was breakfast and coffee at the same time in a tasty/easy to drink shake. I'll be ordering another case as soon as possible.

I decided to try Soylent after hearing about it on my favorite podcast (Stuff You Should Know), and I am so glad I did! I am a busy young professional who is moderately health obsessed. I do normally indulge in a weekly cheat meal, but I found myself eating out WAY too often (several times a week) when I started a very competitive and time consuming job. Once I didn't have the time to meticulously prepare everything I ate, I began gaining weight and losing energy. I put off trying Soylent because I am a picky eater and wasn't willing to drop $40 on something I may not be able to take two sips of, but I decided to take the risk. I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID! I am now drinking half a bottle of Soylent every morning for breakfast and the other half around 3pm, and it has completely changed my diet for the better. I am no longer starving throughout the day and binging on takeout when I finally get the chance to eat. I am losing weight, saving money, and finally getting back to my regular workouts. I wouldn't drink it for every meal, but being able to satisfy my hunger throughout the day with Soylent, a nutrition bar, and fresh fruits and veggies allows me to take the time to cook a simple healthy meal for dinner when I get home, and gives me easy energy for a quick workout in the morning. The taste is pretty bland. Not as delicious as ice cream, but you don't have to force yourself to drink it like a protein shake. I actually enjoy it and find myself looking forward to drinking it every morning. I did have to switch to the original in the afternoon, because the caffeine was keeping me up at night. However, I love the coffee for the morning because it replaces my breakfast and my coffee without the jittery caffeine high or the crash a few hours later. THANK YOU, SOYLENT! Stop thinking about it, and just try it. You won't regret it.

I used to drink shakeology each morning and was looking for something to easily replace this and was ready to grab n go. My husband and I have little time in the morning to prepare shakeology smoothies so these are perfect! I love the taste of the coffiest (coffee) and it was very filling. I also think the price is good when you consider it a meal replace. With s&s it prices out at 2.80 each. Win! I'm also sensitive to artificial flavors and in my opinion this doesn't taste artificial at all. It's rich, creamy and perfectly flavored. I would describe it as chocolate milk w a splash of coffee. I'm also a personal trainer and nutritionist so I'm careful which products I recommend. This is something I would highly encourage my fitness clients to consume. Big thumbs up!!

My daugther was recently diagnosed with a medical condition called gastroparesis and this product was a temporary life saver for us as we struggled to find a meal replacement for her. She loved the mocha and vanilla, was not a big fan of the Chai. But the fat content in Soylent was a true blessing for her restrictions. Thank you.

It's only been a week, but I think I'll be subscribing to monthly shipments. I'm not a breakfast person unless you count the typical 4 cups of coffee from wake up to mid-morning. Coffiest has cut that to zero, and I'm not starving come lunchtime. I've even been able to somedays just drink half and then finish it off around mid-afternoon when I need a jolt to make it through the rest of the workday. I tried Soylent several years ago when it first became available because I was living alone and spending way too much on eating out. No matter what I added to it, it just wasn't for me. That was a bunch of versions ago obviously. So, i figured I'd give this a shot especially since it was pre-mixed even though per bottle it isn't *that* inexpensive. Glad I did.
